Terms of sale

Last updated: 21 October 2026

These terms govern the purchase and use of the Worldlaps application. By buying or using the application you accept them. They are written to be understood; if something is unclear, write to us before buying.

1. Who sells and who licenses

  • Merchant of record: Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which processes the payment, applies and reports the VAT of your country, issues the invoice and handles refunds under its buyer terms.
  • Licensor and author: Abel Antonino Juberías, tax ID 46076798E (“we”), holder of all rights over Worldlaps.

2. What you buy

You buy a licence to use the Worldlaps application, not the program or its code. The licence is:

  • Personal and non-exclusive. You can activate it on up to 3 computers of yours at the same time and move it from one to another by deactivating the previous one.
  • One-time payment. It includes all updates of the 1.x series. A future major version may be sold separately; if so, we will say so here and on the website beforehand.
  • No surface limit. The free version of the same application generates areas of up to 1 km²; the licence removes that limit. Everything else is identical.

The free version is also governed by these terms (sections 5 to 9), except for anything relating to payment.

3. Price, taxes and delivery

  • The price is the one shown on the website at the time of purchase, VAT included. VAT is calculated according to your country; Lemon Squeezy applies it at checkout and issues the invoice.
  • Delivery is immediate: on completing the payment you receive by email the licence key and the download link. The installer is the same as the free version’s; the key, pasted into Settings, unlocks the full version.
  • If you do not receive the email, check your spam folder and, if it is not there, write to hola@worldlaps.com. You can retrieve the key at any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal.

4. Right of withdrawal and refunds

As a consumer in the European Union you have the right to withdraw within 14 days. Since this is digital content delivered instantly, at checkout you are asked for express consent to immediate delivery and you acknowledge that with it you lose the statutory right of withdrawal.

Even so, we refund your money for 14 days from purchase, no questions asked. How to request it and what happens next is in the refund policy.

5. What you can do with the tracks

The tracks you generate are yours: you can use them, modify them in Blender or other tools, and share them, under two conditions set not by us but by the data licences:

  • Keep the attributions of the open data that the application includes in every track (OpenStreetMap, Instituto Geográfico Nacional, ESA WorldCover, Copernicus/USGS). They are detailed in data licences.
  • If you choose the option to fill car parks with the car models from your own Assetto Corsa, the track contains material belonging to Kunos Simulazioni and you may not redistribute it. That option is off by default and warns you when enabled. Tracks made with the free (CC0) models bundled with the application have no such limitation.

5a. Referral programme

If you have an account you can share your referral link. Whoever buys through it gets a 10 % discount and, for every 3 valid purchases made through your link, you receive a single-use 100 % discount code for a licence, which you can use or give away. Rules:

  • Only paid, non-refunded purchases count. A refund removes the purchase from the count.
  • Purchases made by yourself or with accounts created for that purpose do not count. Detecting artificial use of the programme (fake purchases, duplicate accounts, spam) means losing the rewards and, if repeated, the deactivation of the account.
  • You may not present your link as an official Worldlaps offer, use it in paid advertising with the brand, or post it on coupon sites.
  • Rewards are not paid in money nor exchangeable for money, and have no value outside the store.
  • We may change or close the programme with notice on the website; rewards already issued remain valid.

6. What you may not do

  • Share, sell, rent or publish your licence key, or use it on more computers than allowed.
  • Circumvent, disable or tamper with the licence check or the free version’s limit.
  • Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the application, except as expressly permitted by law.
  • Redistribute the application or parts of it, with or without modifications.
  • Use the application to infringe the data licences or third-party rights.

If we detect a use that breaches these terms, we may deactivate the key. We will write to you before doing so.

7. Intellectual property

Worldlaps, its code, its design, its own models and textures and its brand are the property of Abel Antonino Juberías. You are granted no rights over them beyond the licence to use described here. The application incorporates third-party components under permissive licences (BSD, MIT), whose notices are reproduced in the THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md file shipped with the application.

Assetto Corsa is a trademark of Kunos Simulazioni. Worldlaps is not affiliated with Kunos or 505 Games. You need a legitimate copy of Assetto Corsa to use the generated tracks.

8. Operation, warranty and liability

  • Worldlaps relies on third-party open data. Its coverage and quality vary by area: outside Spain the aerial imagery is lower resolution, and anywhere there may be streets or buildings missing or wrong in OpenStreetMap. That is not a defect of the application. The free version lets you check the result in your area before buying.
  • The application needs an internet connection to generate and to activate and revalidate the licence every 30 days, with 30 additional days of grace. If the data or licensing services are unavailable, the application warns you and keeps working as far as possible; it does not lock you out of what you bought because of a network failure.
  • We warrant that the application matches its description and complies with the statutory conformity warranty for digital content under Spanish and EU consumer law. We do not warrant fitness for specific purposes other than those described, nor any particular in-game performance, which depends on your machine and the size of the area.
  • Our liability towards you, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence and without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights, is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.

9. Support

We answer questions and problems at hola@worldlaps.com, in Spanish or English. There is no guaranteed response time; we try to reply on working days.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, if you are a consumer you may go to the courts of your place of residence; otherwise, to the Courts of Valencia (Spain). The European Union also offers an online dispute resolution platform.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to you is the one in force at the time of your purchase; if anything relevant to licences already sold changes, we will announce it on the website.
